I'm Angie Bowman, illustrator, designer, and the creative mind behind The InkSpott.
I'm a lifelong observer of the little things. Winding mountain roads, weathered seaside cottages, salt air, wildflowers, changing seasons, and all those everyday details that somehow stick with you. They're often where my best ideas begin.

For more than 20 years, I've been turning those inspirations into illustrations and building a creative business around the things I love most: storytelling, thoughtful design, and artwork with a little personality.
My style lives somewhere between contemporary and vintage, simple and whimsical. Through The InkSpott, I work with art directors, publishers, and brands on custom illustration and licensing projects, while also creating original collections of stationery, paper goods, and illustrated everyday wares.
We believe in thoughtful design, meaningful details, and creating things worth holding onto.
We're intentional about the materials we use, choosing sustainable papers and packaging whenever possible, and working with local printers and makers who share our appreciation for quality and thoughtful production.
From the first sketch to the finished piece, everything we create is made with care and a little extra love. After all, we believe the things we put into the world should be things we'd be happy to send, share, and keep ourselves.
The InkSpott is named in honor of my mom,
Carol Spotts. It's my way of keeping a little piece of her woven into this creative adventure and a reminder of the people and stories that shape us.
